Visitor Experience & Friction-Mapping Audits.
Uncover the hidden friction points draining your destination’s revenue, engagement, and review scores.
We arrive on-site, walk your destination as a first-time traveler, and deliver a strategic blueprint your board can act on.
You can’t see your destination through a tourist’s eyes anymore.
A great destination isn’t just built; it is felt. Yet, when you manage a location day-in and day-out, it becomes impossible to see it through the fresh eyes of a first-time traveler.
Our Visitor Experience (VX) Audits provide an unvarnished, deep-dive evaluation of your entire physical footprint. We arrive on-site to live, walk, and map your exact traveler journey — pinpointing precisely where tourists get confused, bored, or leave money on the table.
We don’t just hand you a list of errors. We deliver a strategic blueprint detailing the exact physical touchpoints, micro-experiences, and cultural additions needed to maximize your daily visitor yield.

What you need to know.
What does the on-site audit actually look like?
I travel to your destination and experience it exactly as a first-time visitor would — arrival, wayfinding, parking, entry, dwell areas, food, retail, restrooms, exit. Everything is documented with photography, notes, and timing data, then translated into a structured evaluation rather than a list of opinions.
How long until we receive the blueprint?
Timelines depend on the size of the footprint. A single district or attraction typically moves faster than a multi-site regional audit. We lock the exact schedule during stakeholder discovery so your team knows every milestone up front.
Who on our team should be involved?
Whoever owns visitor experience, operations, and budget. That's usually a tourism director, a parks or district manager, and someone from marketing. Broader stakeholder input is welcome and often surfaces friction points internal teams already suspect.
What if we want Peter to lead implementation after the audit?
That's a natural next step and it's quoted separately. Many destinations bring me back to lead creative direction, campaign development, and production once the blueprint is approved and funded.
How is this different from a marketing agency review?
Marketing changes what people hear about your destination. This changes what they experience once they arrive. Advertising can bring visitors in, but friction is what stops them from spending, staying longer, and leaving a five-star review.
Forward this to your board.
